A form's Resize event as well as firing when a user resizes a form, also fires when a form is loaded. For example, this code will resize a sub-form within a resized form: [font=Verdana][size=2]You should not have to do all that. So, I prefer Open Query action rather than Run SQL action.Regards, jon [font=Verdana][size=2]You should not have to do all that.Action ............................................... Arg uments Set Warnings ................................... On = No Open Query................................... View = Datasheet; Data Mode = Edit Set Warnings .....................................I have created a form in Access (provides information on reviewers), of which one part is a comment section (I have two comment sections, one shows the comments against the person and the other is to add new comments). You want to make sure those are not used by turning off the associated properties such Orderby On.
My code so far is: 0 then str SQL = "Update panel Comment set Comments = '" & Me! Text14 else str SQL = "INSERT INTO panel Comment (ID, Comments) VALUES (" & Me!
ODBC data sources are refreshed based on the ODBC Refresh Interval setting on the Advanced tab of the Access Options dialog box.
You can use the Refresh method to view changes that have been made to the current set of records in a form or datasheet since the record source underlying the form or datasheet was last refreshed.
I have a table that holds the comments against the ID of each person which the form pulls in when you search for a reviewer through a combo box.
I have done the code for adding the comments (ID of the person and the new comments), but it just creates a new field in the table (or does not add it if I stop duplications).
Ed Sorry, looks like it's as simple as Application. Here is a clip from a good help page by Tony D'Ambra.
