Updating bios from usb
To update your BIOS on your HP computer/laptop, you will first have to check which version of BIOS is currently running on your system. Make sure the battery is present in the laptop and the AC adapter is connected with it the whole time.
Below “Enter my HP model number”, type your system’s model name you noted earlier, and press Enter.
Don’t interrupt the updating process once it has started.
Reboot when asked and you’ve got the latest BIOS version in town.
Thus needless to say the BIOS is very crucial when it comes to the functionality of your Windows 10/8/7 computer.

I want to write this image to a usb and then boot from it, for updating bios. My system is E430, though the question is quite generic.
One can also run a command in CMD to check the BIOS version.
